Salt Lake City, Utah. 8 December 1999. The QTERM-W85 Industrial Computer runs the WindowsÆ CE operating system. Based on the MIPS core, the QTERM-W85 is engineered to run cooler, with less power, and to take advantage of Windows CE's simplicity and power. The QTERM-W85 uses a bright 640 ? 480 lighted, active matrix, color LCD display which is viewable in many operating environments. Interaction with the unit occurs via a resistive touch screen which extends beyond the display area for placement of your soft keys, a standard PC keyboard and/or a mouse. 16 Mbytes of DRAM memory and 8 Mbytes compact flash for programs, data and the operating system are standard; 32 Mbytes and 16 or 48 Mbyte options are available, respectively.
