Is there an emulator for the TREQL? If so, where can I download it along with any instructions I might need to use it? I tried some of the emulators in my VS 2005 but without success.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

We don't have emulator for TREQ family. Need SDK and real TREQ unit to do development. Some of the hardware/firmware are special designed by QSI so probably won't find a working emulator for them elsewhere.

As a substitute, you can use one of the PocketPC or Windows Mobile emulators configured to the correct screen size and skinned to look like the TREQ. Understand you are actually targeting a different platform, and this only lets you notionally see what the app might look like on a real TREQ. The instructions say PockectPC 2003, but other SDK emulators work as well. Here's what we did.

1. In Visual Studio, select Tools->Options, select Device Tools->Devices from the tree.
2. Select Pocket PC 2003 from the Show devices for platform: drop down; select Pocket PC 2003 SE Emulator from the list and click the Save As… button.
3. Enter TreqGL Emulator in the Save As dialog and click OK button.
4. Select TreqGL Emulator from the Devices: list, and click the Properties... button.
5. In the Properties dialog, click the Emulator Options... button.
6. In the General tab, check Specify RAM size:, enter 64; in Shared folder: enter C:\Storage Card. IMPORTANT! Be sure to create a C:\Storage Card folder on your drive before launching the emulator. (Optional) In the Display tab, check Skin radio and enter the path to a skin file if you have one. Click OK button.

Below is a sample skin.xml file. You need to create bitmaps 3 bitmaps for normal, button mask, and button down images.
